My first love is hand building weird little critters and making fun style boxes from stoneware
clay. I use various techniques: pinching, coiling, slab rolling, hand building, carving to
mention a few.
I am excited to announce that I will be attending the Appalachian Center for Craft in
Smithville, TN the end of May and July. May will be my first time ever attending a classroom
setting, in May I hope to improve with my slab rolling techniques. In July I will be learning
new ways of surface decoration and clay alterations.
